Accommodation in Seyðisfjörður
Hotel Aldan offers accommodation in three historical house in Seyðisfjörður. Each room has it’s unique style and character. We also offer two cozy apartments in the old part of the town.
Hótel Aldan
At the "Old Bank" you'll find our deluxe rooms. They all come with a private bathroom, a coffee maker and a TV. The house was originally built in 1898 as Iceland's finest hotel, including 19 rooms and a dancehall. Today the rooms are 9 in total.
Hótel Snæfell
By the lagoon you'll find "The Old Post Office". Each room has a private bathroom and a coffee maker. The house has been renovated, but keeping it's old charm.
Our apartments
Situated in the old town center, "The Old Schoolhouse" houses 2 apartments for up 6 persons each. Both are fully furnished with a washing machine and a dryer. Built in 1883, the house was originally used as a school. Book for a homey feeling!
